DR. SMART-YEBOAH was appointed to the Board in September 2017.

He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Engineers. Dr. Smart-Yeboah’s experiences span over 40 years including teaching, research and high-level Directorship positions at the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). He was formerly responsible for 2 of ECG’s Operational Regions generating average yearly revenue of around US$50m per Region.

Dr. Smart-Yeboah holds PhD and MSc degrees in Electric Power Systems Engineering from University of Manchester, UK; BSc Engineering degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology and an Executive MBA in Finance from University of Ghana.

He is presently an independent power system consultant in technical, commercial and ICT related activities.
