CHIEF EXECUTIVE’S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO STAFF
The Christmas and New Year break has just been announced and this requires that I extend my Christmas greetings to you all before we leave to join our families and loved ones for the festivities of the season.
My prayer is that we will all have a safe, festive and joyous Christmas with family and loved ones.

Christmas is a period for showing appreciation; on behalf of myself and Management, I want to express my gratitude to you for your hard work and various contributions towards the growth of GRIDCo.

I personally feel honoured for the support, encouragement and friendship I have earned from a cross-section of staff since joining the company. I feel very honoured and grateful for these.

A few of us staff will be working around the clock to keep the lights on and make the season meaningful to the citizenry. I will entreat you to continue to be on top of your job and still spend quality time with your families and loved ones in the spirit of the yuletide.

The Christmas joy and festivities may not be felt in some homes because of bereavement or some other reasons. I will enjoin you to open your hearts and reach out with love to such people and others in your community who may find themselves in such situations. That is the essence of the season.

Finally, let us all be mindful that in the midst of all the celebrations we would need time to rest and reflect on how best we can reconvene next year and bring our energy and creativity to bear in building a better GRIDCo.

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas season.
